Resilient Household groups forming now!
JOIN A RESILIENT HOUSEHOLD GROUP:
What is a resilient household?
In one sentence, it’s the ability of households and communities to adapt to disturbances while maintaining their basic functions.
Why join a group?
When we had an RH group in 2009, we were able to get great ideas from each other and share our thoughts and concerns with friends. We will also plan outings and skill building classes for each other.
What topics will be covered?
Food and food storage, water safety, home heating and weatherization, building community, security, maintaining a resilient attitude and mental health, and many other topics.
When will they meet?
Once a month on the third Monday and the first Thursday of each month. RH members will pick ONE of these sessions (more to be set up if needed.) The Monday group will meet at the Waterford Township Hall, the Thursday group in town at 1301 Washington St. ‘Registration’ is requested, so we can balance the numbers in each group. Meetings to start in FEBRUARY 2014; but fell free to contact us after that date about open spots and/or new group formations.
